THE STRUCTURE - Industrial
General Rules
The following are the general rules for building the internal buildings of an industry or a factory:
The building should generally be equidistant from the compound wall. This is an important factor that determines the materialisation of the good results of Vaastu. This also indicates that no portion of the factory is cut or extended.
However in case of the expansion of the plot in north east sector, one of the sides of the plot will be angular. In that case the factory has to be equidistant on the south and west sides, the expansion should be small and adjusting compound thickness should enable equi-distance on all sides.
The corners of the building should not face the doors of another plot nor should the corner of the opposite building face doors or gates within the factory.
SHAPE
The shape of the building indicates the aerial view of the structure. The arrangement of the perimeter of the building is generally taken as its shape. Cantilevers projecting out of the main perimeter are not taken into consideration, when the shape is plotted. Any part is considered as an extension only if it is connected to the ground.
The ideal proportions for size of the building are 1.5:1, 2:1 for length to breadth.
A square building is not considered good. The buildings that are exactly square with all their sides equal are bad as it causes the
SADHUSHKONA VEDHAI.The business will keep on shifting to subsequent locations or the owners will keep changing. Dimensions slightly varying from a square are fine.

WING TYPE BUILDINGS
A wing provides more privacy and better living conditions in hostels, hospitals and hotels. Winged buildings cannot be used for living permanently, and cause serious problems.
SINGLE WING
The single wing should be built only in the western or southern side of the plot, leaving more open space in the north and east. Building them in the north or east will increase weight in the delicate areas and leave open spaces in the prohibited areas.
TWO WINGED BUILDINGS
These are called Dwishaal buildings. These buildings with two wings perpendicular to, each other in the shape of the letter L are not auspicious for homes. However public buildings can be constructed here. There are 4 combinations in which this building could be built.
OPPOSITE WINGS
If two wings are built on opposite sides they have no benefits as one wing will be on a low weight zone.
THREE WINGED BUILDING - TRISHAALS
The building in three wings with open space in the middle is very common in hospitals and hostels.
There are 4 combinations possible:
SOUTH, WEST AND EAST (HIRANYA TRISHAL)
This leaves the open space in the north and renders auspicious results to the inmates. Wealth and assets build up.
EAST, WEST AND NORTH (CHULLI TRISHAAL)
Leaving the south as open space is harmful and some bad results can be expected, like loss of health, wealth and fear of death.
SOUTH, WEST AND NORTH (SUKHSHETRA TRISHAAL)
Leaving the east as an open space is auspicious and good results arise out of this type. Wealth and wisdom are attained by residents.
SOUTH, EAST AND NORTH (PAKSAGNA TRISHAAL)
Leaving the west as open space gives very bad results to the inmates of the factory. It causes enmity and loss.
